Hub Operations is the backbone of Bounty & Soul. We are the behind-the-scenes team dedicated to the careful stewardship, sorting, and preparation of the fresh foods that fuel our community markets in Black Mountain and the surrounding region. Our mission is to ensure that every piece of produce and every food box is handled with the highest standards of safety, dignity, and care before it reaches our neighbors’ tables.

What We Do
At the Hub, we manage the flow of thousands of pounds of fresh food each week. We prioritize purchasing farm-fresh produce from local growers to ensure our neighbors receive the highest quality nutrition. Our work includes inspecting and organizing fresh and donated foods, assembling nutritious food boxes for specialized programs, preparing items so they are market-ready for distribution, and maintaining a clean, safe environment for the careful handling of our community’s food.
