Traffic Guide Volunteer

Help keep the market safe and organized by directing participants to available parking spaces and managing vehicle flow.

Responsibilities:

• Direct participants to parking spaces in a friendly, clear manner
• Ensure safe movement of vehicles and pedestrians around the market
• Assist with traffic-related questions or concerns from participants
• Communicate any issues to market staff promptly
• Check in with our staff upon arrival at the Bounty and Soul trucks

Skills / Preferences:

• Friendly and approachable
• Able to communicate clearly and assertively when needed
• Comfortable managing vehicles and people in a calm, positive way

Physical Requirements:

• Standing for extended periods
• Walking and light movement throughout the shift

Requirements / Notes:

• Age: 18+
• Dress: Closed-toe shoes, shirts with sleeves, appropriate shorts/jeans
• Environment: Outdoors; comfortable working in sun, heat, cold, or light rain
• Teamwork: Be flexible; roles may shift based on need
