Traffic Guide – Bi Lo DriveThrough Market
Keep vehicles moving safely and efficiently at the drive-through market by guiding traffic through lanes and helping participants navigate the market flow.
Responsibilities:
- Direct vehicles through designated lanes in a clear, friendly, and safe manner
- Ensure cars keep moving to prevent backups onto the main road
- Monitor traffic flow and coordinate with other volunteers and staff
- Assist participants with lane or directional questions as needed
- Check in with our staff upon arrival at the Bounty and Soul trucks
Skills / Preferences:
- Friendly and approachable
- Attentive and observant — able to monitor multiple vehicles at once
- Comfortable giving clear guidance to drivers in a supportive way
Physical Requirements:
- Standing for extended periods
- Walking and active movement throughout the shift
- Able to remain alert and focused for the duration of the shift
Requirements / Notes:
- Age: 18+
- Dress: Closed-toe shoes, shirts with sleeves, comfortable pants/shorts
- Environment: Outdoor market; comfortable working in sun, heat, cold, or light rain
- Teamwork: Be flexible; roles may shift based on need
