Set-Up & Break-Down Volunteer
Help ensure the market runs smoothly by assisting with set-up and break-down tasks and supporting overall market operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with setting up tables and displays before the market opens
- Help organize supplies and materials for easy access during the market
- Assist Market Support volunteers as needed during the shift
- Assist with packing up, cleaning, and storing equipment at the end of the market
- Check in with our staff upon arrival at the Bounty and Soul trucks
Skills / Preferences:
- Friendly and approachable
- Able to follow instructions and work collaboratively
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
Physical Requirements:
- Standing, walking, and bending throughout the shift
- Lifting and moving supplies (up to 30–50 lbs) safely
- Able to perform physical activity in outdoor conditions
Requirements / Notes:
- Age: 14+ with an adult, 16+ independently
- Dress: Closed-toe shoes, shirts with sleeves, appropriate shorts/jeans
- Environment: Indoor, high energy environment, may be loud due to music and acoustics. Volunteers sentsitve to sound may choose to bring earplugs or earbuds
- Teamwork: Be flexible; roles and tasks may shift based on need
