Pet Food Pick-Up Volunteer
Help deliver pet food to families in need! Volunteers on this shift pick up pet food from the Asheville Humane Society and deliver it to the Bounty & Soul hub for distribution. Your efforts ensure pets in our community have the food they need.
Responsibilities:
- Arrive at the Asheville Humane Society between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. on Mondays
- Load pet food carefully into your vehicle
- Transport and deliver pet food safely to the Bounty & Soul hub at 1038 Old US 70, Black Mountain
- Ensure all items arrive intact and ready for distribution
Skills / Preferences:
- Responsible and careful with handling items
- Comfortable driving and transporting goods
- Able to follow delivery instructions and schedules
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting and moving pet food (moderate weight)
- Standing and walking during loading and unloading
Requirements / Notes:
- One volunteer can sign up per week
- Vehicle capable of transporting pet food (car, SUV, or truck) is required
- Age: 16+
